Liverpool v Brentford live stream and confirmed team news: Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino start for Jurgen Klopp's side in Premier League clash at Anfield
Liverpool face a tricky test as they welcome Brentford to Anfield.
The Reds have enjoyed a decent campaign so far but find themselves way off the pace in the hunt for the Premier League title and will need all three points if they’re to stand any chance of catching Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are in good form, but without players such as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah tujuan they face a big challenge against Brentford.
Thomas Frank’s side have exceeded expectations this term and find themselves in 13th place in the table after 20 games.
After earning a 3-3 draw in the last clash with the Reds, the Bees will be quietly confident of getting a result.
Liverpool v Brentford: Date and time
The Premier League clash is set to take place on Sunday, January 16 at Anfield in Liverpool.
Kick off is scheduled for 2pm UK time.
The sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw back in September.

Liverpool v Brentford: What’s been said?
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said: “Brentford have a specific way to play, pretty direct, their goalkeeper is a playmaker, long balls and we struggled to defend second balls. The goals they scored [in Sept] were avoidable. Set-pieces, sleepy, they could score. It should not go that way. We have to be alert.
“Thomas Frank is doing a brilliant job there, they have interesting players there with the way they want to play. But I hope we can play much better than in the first game and can use Anfield, that would be helpful.”
Brentford boss Thomas Frank said: “It is the first time we are going to Anfield and we all know that is one of most iconic football stadiums in the world.
“We are all looking forward to that and we want to go there and express ourselves and attack but we want it to be a fun and good experience at both two o’clock and also at four o’clock.
“It is not that fun if we go there and get beat 4-0. It is only a fantastic experience if you go there, perform and get a good result, so that is what we aim for.”
